Jiang's mother acted very quickly. As soon as May began, she made an appointment with the studio and urged Ethan Jiang and Qin Shu to take wedding photos.
Jiang's mother's words made a lot of sense: "The wedding will be held next month. How can we not take photos now? The wedding planners are waiting for you! Don't dawdle. The weather is good this weekend. I've specially asked my colleague's son to add a photo for you. You two should hurry up!"
Qin Shu was naturally happy to do so. The more prepared she was, the more at ease she felt. Gabriel Su's return to China weighed on Qin Shu's mind like a huge rock. Qin Shu was afraid that something might change, and wanted to drag Ethan Jiang to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get their marriage certificate torn up. But Jiang's mother had made such a perfect arrangement that Qin Shu couldn't say anything more.
Ethan Jiang no longer cared. He nodded expressionlessly and responded with a straightforward "OK".
The photography studio was doing quite well, just as Jiang's mother said. The artistic photos hung on the wall were very unique and not clichéd. The photographer was the boss himself. He was so jealous of Ethan Jiang's clothes that he drooled and tried hard to persuade Ethan Jiang to be a part-time model. Ethan Jiang had no interest and let the staff manipulate him like a puppet. When Ethan Jiang finished getting her hair done and put on the dress, Jiang's father, mother, and grandparents who came from afar to join in the fun were all staring.
