In "Baorui Jade Pavilion", the jade carvings have rich themes and are full of new ideas. After several years of careful carving by skilled craftsmen, a batch of large jade articles with precious quality and exquisite craftsmanship have been put on the counter one after another.
On the left side of the large shelf, there are jade dragons, jade lions, jade unicorns, jade elephants, jade deer and so on. Among them, a pair of jade lions that are more than a foot tall and carved from high-quality old jade are particularly eye-catching; the two male lions are sitting and lying on their hind legs, with their front legs supporting them, showing a majestic and proud posture. They raise their faces and open their mouths in response to each other. The long hair on the lion's head is in a curly shape, and the male lion each steps on a carved ball. It looks cute and naive, but it adds to the natural interest and makes you feel ready to come out.
In the middle part of the large shelf, there are various character works. There are Jade Buddha, Jade Guanyin, classical beauties with ribbons, ladies' figures, etc., each one is pure and beautiful, with smiling faces and elegant manners. There are also works with cultural themes, such as: Fortune, Fortune and Longevity Star, Five Sons Enrolling in the Imperial Examination, Harmony of Two Immortals, Avalokitesvara Giving Sons, etc., all of which are lifelike with both spirit and form. Among them, the Jade Buddha Maitreya, which is more than two feet tall and carved from Yun jade, is particularly eye-catching. The color of this Jade Buddha is as white as suet, its clothing lines are naturally smooth, its face is dignified and peaceful, and it is lifelike. A statue infused with charm and soul.
On the right side of the large shelf, Suhuo and some large-scale flower and bird products are placed. Among them, one is more than two feet tall, a large furnace-smoked work with a green color and regular appearance. An auspicious dragon with a green bead in its mouth is vividly entrenched on the stove lid. The relief patterns on both sides of the furnace body are beautifully and evenly arranged. The animal heads on both sides of the furnace body have hanging rings in their mouths. They are smooth and round, looking transparent and shining.
A jade-carved lotus and lotus seed teapot with a unique theme, novel and beautiful style; a large lotus seed is carved into the body of the teapot. The mouth of the jade pot is a curled lotus leaf. Around the pot body, there are several blooming lotus flowers and buds waiting to bloom. A small frog squatted quietly on the lotus seeds as the lid of the pot. Coupled with four jade bowls in the shape of lotus leaves, it is not only ingeniously conceived and beautifully shaped, but also has the practical function of holding water and herbal tea.
