Foreman Li's home village is more than eight miles away from the mining area. After climbing over Shiling Mountain to the west of the mine and wading through a not very wide and deep river, you can see Lijia Village.
Viewed from the entrance of the village, the terrain of Lijia Village is shaped like a huge dustpan. There are more than a dozen families living in the village, and every family has a thatched house made of stone and earth, and a small courtyard with a wooden fence. The house where Foreman Li lives is located at the entrance of the village. It is the only five-room green brick house and stone-walled compound in the village.
