After sending Noah away, Ryan returned to the dormitory on the second floor and saw a cardboard box as high as his thigh at the door.
He pushed the box in and found a utility knife to cut it open. The coffee machine was not big, an ordinary capsule coffee machine, but it had a lot of capsules. For a coffee freak like Ryan, three cups a day was a basic routine.
He packed up and drank two large glasses of water. He hadn't exercised for a long time and was at a high altitude. After drinking the water, he sat at the desk for a while to calm down.
The lamp that Noah gave him on the desk stared at him quietly. Ryan felt something was wrong, but he couldn't tell what was wrong. He had always classified Noah's friendliness towards him as a normal interaction between close friends, just friends taking care of each other, but he was an adult after all, and had the most basic sensitivity to intimacy.
