Ryan directly opened his chat window: Why are you playing with your phone while driving?

Noah replied: Waiting in line for gas.

Ryan: Oh, no hurry, drive slowly.

Noah: Okay.

Ryan felt that it was almost time, so he got up from the ground and decided to let himself go again like he did in the Potala Palace. After all, he would drive back to the village from the county town soon, so he decided not to climb up, lest the altitude sickness really affect his driving.

A tourist who was resting there just now saw him going down and asked, "Young man! Are you leaving now? Aren't you going up to take a look?"

Ryan smiled and said, "It's not our destiny yet, maybe next time."

In Buddhism, fate is everything. Ryan pushed his sunglasses down and walked to the foot of the mountain. There were many cars waiting for passengers, including taxis and tricycles. He got into a tricycle and told his elder brother that he was going to the market.

Noah should be here soon. At around 3:00 p.m., the strong ultraviolet rays from the plateau seemed to have a serious mysophobia in this area, killing bacteria crazily. Ryan felt like he was in a disinfection cabinet.

The highest temperature today was nearly 30 degrees, and the car was scorching hot. As soon as Ryan's B*tt touched the seat, he almost bounced up from the heat.

"Ouch, my B*tt is hot." Ryan sighed and just sat there with the car door open.

It was hot, but not the kind of hot that makes you feel suffocated. It was quite comfortable. Ryan was swiping his phone. The volunteer teachers were chatting in the group. Especially after Ryan posted it on WeChat Moments, the group started @ing him again.

[Tan Xi: @Ryan, wow, Mr. Xu, the mountains there are so beautiful! ]

[Ryan: Of course, the Himalayas, which mountain are you going to?]

[Tan Xi: Daliang Mountain, hehe.]

Ryan noticed something and narrowed his eyes behind his sunglasses. This year's teaching positions for the school had been announced. Ryan was very annoyed by the rumors at the time, so he saw that his teaching position was in Tibet and didn't look at others.

"Daliang Mountain..." Ryan murmured for a moment, then reacted.

[Ryan: Holy Sh!t, Teacher Tan, you’ve returned to your hometown to teach!]

[Tan Xi: Hehe, my uncle and aunt heard that I was going home, so they prepared to slaughter a pig, cleaned the room, and replaced the router with a wall-penetrating one.]

[Dai Jimian: Teacher Ren Tan doesn’t even need to pack his luggage, as he has everything at home.]

[Su Yu: Hahahahahaha~ Teacher Xu just realized that we have already been jealous of him.]

Ryan twitched his lips twice, OK, OK...

Everyone exchanged the start time of each teaching position in the group. Since the customs and climate in different places are different, Tibet starts the earliest, the holiday is also early, and the winter vacation is very long. Teacher Dai notified that there will be an online meeting with the teaching teachers in the Beijing school tomorrow morning, so everyone should prepare in advance and find a place with a more stable network in the local area.

Ryan had already tried it. There were only two bars of signal at school. It was usable, but very slow. If I turned on the hotspot for the computer, it probably wouldn't be able to support the video conference. Then I could only ask for help from Doctor Fang. Thinking of this, he sighed.

"Why are you sighing?" A voice suddenly came from the car door.

Ryan sat up suddenly, his car door was wide open, and the man put his arm on his door, looking at him with a faint smile.

"Doctor Fang."

"Hey, Teacher Xu."

"I'm back." Ryan jumped out of the car and stretched. "Hey - just now they said in the group that the school will hold an online meeting in a while, and asked us to find a place with good internet connection."

"A school in Beijing?"

"Ah." Ryan nodded and asked, "Is there internet in the hospital?"

"Yes, just come over when the time comes."

"Okay." Ryan said.

Noah's car was a Ford Raptor. If Ryan was not mistaken, it was the special model of the Firestorm. The car was parked next to him. Ryan took a few glances. The car was indeed quite handsome. The hood of the car was almost as high as his chest.

"This car is really cool." Ryan said, "Why would a doctor like you buy a pickup truck?"

Noah said: "There are limited ambulances in the hospital. When we go out for free medical consultations, we either call an online taxi or take a tricycle. Pickup trucks are convenient, and the back bed can hold things and people can lie down."

"Oh---" Ryan understood.

After talking, the two of them got into their cars and drove towards the village.

Ryan was driving in front, and Noah was following behind, to keep an eye on the things tied to the roof of his car in case they fell off.

When they got to the back of the village, Noah helped him move the things he bought upstairs. Fortunately, it was only the second floor, and the two men moved things back and forth very efficiently. But Ryan was a little embarrassed. When he moved the things for the fourth time, he held the cart, panting slightly, and said, "Doctor Fang, you go back. I will move the rest slowly by myself."

Doctor Fang had already taken off his coat, revealing a black short-sleeved shirt. He said, "Let's move together, and then we'll go back to the hospital to eat."

"You are still a kind-hearted person." Ryan said with a smile.

Noah was stunned for a moment, then laughed: "Teacher Xu is quite vindictive."

In fact, the things were not heavy, but they were small pieces, so I couldn't move much in one trip, so I had to run up and down. Finally, when they were all moved, in the school yard, Ryan still couldn't fully adapt to the plateau. He bent over with his hands on his knees and breathed heavily.

Noah opened an oxygen cylinder, pointed the nozzle at him, and said, "Take a breath."

After breathing some oxygen, Ryan recovered and uttered a "huff". Then he saw Noah pick up another box from the back of the pickup truck, which was neither too big nor too small, so he asked him: "Aren't you done moving it? What is that?"

Noah replied: "I bought you a box of Coke in Shannan."

"Oh my god." Ryan walked over in shock, almost crying with emotion, and grabbed Noah's arm, "Your doctor really saves lives and heals the wounded."

"...It's my duty." Noah looked at him speechlessly.

School starts next Monday.

At night, Ryan stayed in his dormitory and read the junior high school textbooks. He had already taken the exams at his school in Beijing some time ago, so he read through them again.

The online meeting time for our Beijing campus is 9:00 a.m.

Ryan set the alarm for 8:30 and finally woke up at 8:56.

Because he had given notice in advance, Noah went there this morning. After waiting for a long time but no one showed up, he walked from the hospital to school at 8:50.

It took five minutes to walk here and thirty seconds to go up to the second floor.

Teacher Xu had just opened his eyes when Doctor Fang knocked on the door.

"Fcuk." Ryan checked the time and rolled out of bed. Tan Xi called him frantically on WeChat, asking why he was not online yet. He pressed the talk button while walking over to open the door in his slippers.

So when the door of the dormitory was opened, Noah saw Teacher Xu, who was wearing a white T-shirt and shorts, with a messy head and sleepy eyes, talking to the phone: "Please tell me that my network is unstable. I will... uh, debug it again in five minutes."

Noah was helpless: "Network fluctuations?"

"My alarm didn't wake me up." Ryan said, "I was too tired these past two days and slept too soundly. Doctor Fang, please help me put my computer on the table. I'm going to wash my face."

Noah walked in. This room...how should I describe it? It was full of the breath of life.

The computer was on the table, and the computer bag was on the floor. He rolled up the power cord and mouse and put them in, and then put the computer in. Ryan grabbed a solid-colored coat, then took a toothbrush and toothpaste, and suddenly asked him: "Is my hair messy?"

"I feel okay." said Noah.

He felt that everything was indeed okay, because Ryan's face could save everything.

Suddenly, the chaotic Ryan paused. He was in a hurry just now, but suddenly he froze. Noah asked: "Are you not in a hurry again?"

"Let's go." Ryan said, "There's no need to pretend. Oversleeping is oversleeping. I'm a rich man, so I'm spoiled and I sleep late."

Noah was puzzled. Ryan smiled and said, "I'm going to brush my teeth and wash my face."

Having said that, I still ran back to the hospital.

Sitting down at Dr. Fang's desk, he plugged in the internet cable and entered the video conference. Ryan said, "Sorry, I overslept."

Everyone on the video turned off their microphones. The leader smiled, said it was okay, and then started the meeting.

Noah poured him a cup of hot water, and went out, closing the door of the clinic. There were not many patients in the small hospital, and it was Sunday, so it was a quiet day. Doctor Fang did not even wear his white coat today.

When in the dormitory, Ryan said "There's no need to pretend" and "I'm a rich man", coupled with his Mercedes-Benz G-Class and the brand of his computer, it is not difficult to see that Mr. Xu's family is well-off.

But with that sentence "There's no need to pretend", Noah felt that maybe he had been pretending to be an ordinary person in Beijing before.

Doctor Fang couldn't help but sigh. What kind of family would have to "play" the role of ordinary people...

"Hey? Doctor Fang." The nurse met him in the corridor. "Are you here for work today?"

"Oh, yes, I..." Noah pointed to the clinic, "to take care of something."

"Oh, but the cafeteria won't cook today. Doctor Gao and Doctor Sangji are out for free clinics." The nurse said, "But there are some beef patties left over from last night. They're in the freezer. If you want to eat them, just heat them up yourself."

Noah nodded: "Okay, I understand, thank you."

Ryan was really sleepy. He had been busy all day yesterday and came back to move things in the evening. The young master made the bed crookedly and he had obsessive-compulsive disorder. After all the trouble, he could only use the newly bought kettle to boil water and use basins to bathe himself in the bathroom.

He was really sleepy. Meetings are always a sleepy thing. What's more, the Beijing school always spoke in a very official tone, talking about safety hazards, teacher ethics, patient education...

Ryan warned himself not to doze off, absolutely not to doze off. Until the frame of the volunteer teachers in the video, Teacher Dai yawned first...

Well, the cyber-infected Ryan quickly took out a piece of paper and wiped away the tears that were trapped in his eyes.

So when Noah entered the room to get a charger, he saw Ryan sitting in front of the computer wiping tears.

He was shocked. Why would someone cry in a meeting?
