Elliot's breathing became heavier, and the reddish color at the corners of his eyes was replaced by crystal clear eyes.
His mood was up and down tonight. The confusion after drunkenness and the deliberate sobriety were spinning in his mind. All he thought about was Lara in front of him.
He seemed to have never told her about his feelings for her. He liked her and loved her, but she didn't seem to know where this feeling started. She didn't think that what had happened in the past was important. It was enough for the two of them to love each other at the moment.
Tears fell on the back of her hand. Lara's eyelashes trembled slightly and she sat by the bed and looked at him quietly.
