Although almost all gods went to the Chaos Continent, some chose to stay in the God Realm. The human god Soth was one of them. He looked at his long wooden staff, on the top of which was a crystal ball, which showed that the God of Light had just left the God Realm.
This is a good opportunity, Soth thought, as he disappeared into the Hall of Knowledge.
The Chaos Continent has experienced seven eras in total, and the human race only rose in the last era, which made the gods of the human race weak. In order to gain a foothold in the God Realm, the gods of the human race joined the faction of the God of Light without hesitation, firmly supported the God of Light, and even gave up their believers. Soth knew that the gods always mocked them as the running dogs of the God of Light behind their backs, but he didn't mind. If this method could get the greatest benefit, why not do it?
---Even though he never acknowledged the supreme status of the God of Light, the throne temporarily belonged to the God of Light, but sooner or later, he would replace the God of Light and take that position.
Therefore, Soth collected all the information he could find and kept observing the God of Light quietly, trying to find his flaws. The reason why the God of Light could sit firmly on the throne was because of the scepter that could destroy the godhood, but the oldest records did not explain where the scepter of the God of Light came from. After a long period of observation, Soth finally found some clues: there were no other creatures in the Hall of Light of the God of Light, not even people serving the God of Light. This strange situation could only mean one thing, that the Hall of Light hid a secret that the God of Light was unwilling to share with others.
