Ethan Stone couldn't remember for a moment. When he heard Jack Reid calling him, he asked the man, "Sir, are you okay? Are you injured?"

The man shook his head, and Ethan Stone put his hands together and apologized: "I'm so sorry! If you feel uncomfortable, please tell me."

"It's okay." The man spat out two words carefully, took off the snowboard on his feet and stood up.

Ethan Stone took a glance and thought he was very tall, so he picked up his snowboard and ran towards Jack Reid.

Jack Reid asked him worriedly if he had fallen. Ethan Stone patted the snow off his body and said, "Don't mention it. I bumped into someone else and rolled over twice."

"Ah?! Do you feel any pain? Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?"

"No, it doesn't hurt. You fell so many times and it didn't hurt, so why would it hurt me?" Ethan Stone waved his hand, took the coffee from him and took a sip.

He skied until it was almost dark, and then he and Jack Reid went to return the ski equipment. Only then did he realize that his ski card, passport and cell phone were all missing.

I searched all my pockets but couldn't find it. Mobile phones and snowboard cards are small matters, passports are big matters!

"Jack Reid, please give me a call on my cell phone. I might have...lost it somewhere. It should be on the snow trail."

Jack Reid dialed his number immediately, and after a few seconds, the other end actually picked up!

"Brother Zhuang, someone's answering!"

Ethan Stone took off his helmet, took the phone from him, and answered the call with his ear tilted: "Hello?"

The person on the other end of the line paused for a moment, then said, "I found your phone, passport, and ski pass. They're waiting for me at the snowman outside the ski shop."

Ethan Stone was stunned for a second: "Oh...thank you."

Then he realized that the person who spoke fluent Chinese and was very frugal with words was actually the Chinese man who had accidentally bumped into and fallen.

This is such a coincidence.

However, there were not many people at the ski resort, so he breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, he met a kind person, otherwise it would be troublesome if he lost his passport.

The other end hung up the phone. Ethan Stone, wearing heavy ski boots, went out to wait for him. After thinking for a while, he went to the nearby cafe to buy a takeaway latte.

His hat and sunglasses are in the locker, while Jack Reid is helping him to look after his goggles, helmet and skis. He cannot return the ski equipment without a ski card. It is different from China, as there is no facial recognition and no convenience.

With his scarf half covering his face, Ethan Stone sat on a bench next to the snowman. It was already dark, and the street lamps and shop lights were reflected on the blue snow. Snowflakes were flying in the air.

Small flakes of snow fell one by one, and he reached out to catch one. It was hexagonal in shape and had patterns on it.

Because it was cold, he retracted his hand and hugged the latte he had just packed.

The temperature is transferred to the palm of your hand through the paper cup.

He sat and waited for a few minutes, and saw a man coming out of another door. The man was tall, wearing a white windbreaker, and his long legs were wrapped in trousers and Martin boots. He should be a guest of the resort hotel - the ski house used by hotel guests is different from that used by outside skiers.

Ethan Stone looked up at him and caught a glimpse of the man's face after he took off his helmet and goggles. He was stunned for a moment.

Li, Oliver Scott???

Ethan Stone was surprised and wondered if he had seen it wrongly. He was a little shortsighted and was not sure. He waited until the tall man came closer to take a closer look before he confirmed it.

His facial features were mixed with some color. His eyes were not big, but narrow and deep in his eye sockets. His pupils were not pure black, but stained with some blue, which was inherited from his mother. His face was very deep, and there was a very light mole on the tip of his nose. His whole face was cold, as if it was covered with ice and snow, which was intimidating.

---It’s really Mr. Li.

He didn't admit his mistake!

Ethan Stone has watched all the movies made by Oliver Scott, and has watched each of them over and over again. He always can't help but wonder how he would perform if he were to play the role himself.

It will definitely not be as good as him.

Ethan Stone was somewhat jealous of his talent and also envied such a smooth acting career.

No wonder the voice sounded familiar.

Oliver Scott walked up to him and lowered his head to confirm.

The clothes were the same, the eyes were the same. Those eyes seemed to be in shock, staring at him blankly, not blinking, like a frightened deer.

Ethan Stone's short black hair was a little messy, his nose was slightly red from the cold, and his eyelashes were stained with snow. He looked at the other party giving him the three things he had lost, and then he came to his senses and quickly reached out to take them: "Thank you, thank you so much."

The man nodded expressionlessly and turned away.

"Wait..." Ethan Stone hesitated and almost called out his name, "This is..."

"Coffee?" Oliver Scott looked down at the paper cup in his hands, his fingertips were frozen red.

"It's a thank you gift. Latte, not bitter, and a sugar packet?" Ethan Stone looked up at him.

In the circle, Actor Li has a very good reputation. He is a very low-key person and only shoots movies at a pace of one to two years or three years. But the whole circle knows that he has a good reputation but a bad temper. He is an extremely cold person and will not talk to anyone casually. He dares to step on anyone's face. The thing he hates most is others tying him up for hype.

For a person who never hypes himself, never buys press releases for marketing, and doesn't even have a social media account, he has surprisingly many fans.

"No thanks." Oliver Scott didn't drink latte, but he still took it, nodded to express his gratitude, and turned and left.

Ethan Stone sat there, with a bit of disbelief in his eyes, and kept watching his back without entering the snow house.

It's amazing. I called Director Guo yesterday to ask for his role, and today I ran into Oliver Scott in Minnesota...

What is Oliver Scott doing here?

He hasn’t filmed “Hidden Heart” yet, and he’s not an actor… Is he just here for fun?

Ethan Stone thought to himself, "What a coincidence!" and went back to return the snow equipment. Meanwhile, Oliver Scott entered the snow house, put on his bag and went back to his room. He took a sip of latte, but didn't like the taste. When he was about to throw it away, he suddenly saw a line of small words written on the paper cup with a fountain pen.

"Thank you, you are a good person! Happy Chinese New Year~"

The handwriting is very neat.

Oliver Scott stared at the handwriting for a few seconds, and found it interesting, which made him feel a little better.

"Boom!"

Coffee cups are destined for the trash.

---

When Ethan Stone returned, he heard his master's wife say, "I just called you, and a stranger answered the phone. He said he found your phone. I spoke to him in English, but he spoke to me in Chinese. There are very few Chinese tourists here."

It's rare for my wife to meet a few Chinese students. Chinese people usually go to Denver to ski, so why would they come to Minnesota? Even if they come, they go to the Twin Cities. This is a rural area, and few Chinese people know about it.

Ethan Stone was distracted for a moment when he heard Jack Reid say that it was a good thing a kind-hearted person had picked it up, otherwise if he had lost his passport, he would have to contact the embassy before returning to China, which would have been a lot of trouble, not to mention that Ethan Stone was a celebrity.

"Brother Zhuang, why are you so distracted?" Jack Reid waved his hand in front of his eyes.

"Ah? Oh... I'm fine, just a little tired from skiing." After seeing Oliver Scott, many thoughts ran through his mind.

Jack Reid unscrewed the thermos cup and asked him to drink some hot water: "It seems that your junior brother has already arrived at the airport. He can't come back because of the heavy snow. He will arrive tomorrow."

"Yeah?"

"I just heard what your master's wife said on the phone." He whispered.

It starts getting dark here at 4 o'clock, and it's almost completely dark at 5 o'clock. At night, Jack Reid came and knocked on the door. Ethan Stone opened the door and let him in: "What's wrong?"

Jack Reid put his hands behind his back and seemed hesitant: "Just now... Sister Wen called me."

"Oh?" Su Wen also contacted him, and was still talking about his previous rejection of the script of "Ding Dong Feng". Ethan Stone only replied one message and ignored her.

"Sister Wen means that she has communicated with Director Qu and can still fight for it, as long as you are willing to give in..." Jack Reid took out the script of "Ding Dong Feng" hidden behind his back and begged him pitifully, "Brother Zhuang, this drama is really hard to come by and is destined to be a hit. Haven't we signed the contract? You also got this role with great difficulty through the audition. Are you really not going to act anymore?"

"I really don't want to act anymore," Ethan Stone comforted him with a relaxed look, "I got a better script."

"Ah? Is it better than Ding Dong Feng?" He opened his eyes wide.

"Of course," Ethan Stone knew what he was worried about and comforted him, "Jack Reid, don't worry about the company. You are my person, and the company dare not do anything to you. If things get out of hand, I will protect you."

The words "You are mine" made Jack Reid's face turn red instantly, and she forgot what to say for a moment.

Ethan Stone stroked his hair and said, "Okay, don't worry about Sister Wen. I'll get back to her later. It's getting late. Go back to your room and get some rest."

Jack Reid was completely bewitched by him and forgot the death order Sister Wen had given him. He nodded in a daze and left.

After turning off the lights, Ethan Stone put on an eye mask and lay down, but he couldn't fall asleep.

As time went by, seven or eight years had passed, and the impact of that incident on him seemed to have diminished, but every time he went online and searched his name, he would come up with the original news.

All kinds of complicated emotions surged towards him like a tide under the darkness before his eyes.

"Ding Dong Feng" is a large-scale costume drama. From the production director, screenwriter, sponsor to the cast, it shows that this is a first-class production.

In his previous life, he worked very hard to get the role he liked. He got the script two months in advance, studied it at home, wrote a biography, got into the role, and even auditioned in his dreams.

His efforts were not in vain. After the audition, he defeated many older actors who were more experienced and had more advantages than him, and finally got the role as he wished.

After filming for a month, he suddenly received news that his master's wife was seriously ill. He asked for leave from the crew and went to the United States to visit his master's wife.

The crew was rehearsing his scene that day, and he was in a hurry to leave. Seeing that he was so anxious that he was about to cry, the director let him go and then had a stunt double shoot a rather dangerous martial arts scene.

For some unknown reason, the coercion went wrong and the stand-in suddenly fell down from mid-air. Before anyone could react, his body plummeted and pierced into an upright bamboo pole, causing his stomach to burst into pieces. Everyone on the scene was stunned and a few timid actresses burst into tears out of fear.

One person who was splattered with blood was even left with a psychological trauma. He retired from the circle and dared not film again for the rest of his life.

Ethan Stone was on the plane at the time and knew nothing.
