On the second day of the Lunar New Year, people pay New Year's greetings to important elders, namely Nora's parents' home, and the parents' homes of the three daughters-in-law, Mira, Ivy, and Hu.
The old couple of the Nora family, the young couple of Felix Du's third wife and their six people, and Lyra Du were all in the main room, arranging gifts for their New Year's greetings the next day.
Nora took out the pork that Lyra Du had bought. To be fair, the three daughters-in-law all chose pork of siMila Dur weight for their New Year greetings, no more than one or two taels.
"It's the same for all three of your families. Your brothers from my mother's side haven't split up, so just prepare one portion. Each portion contains a pound of sugar, a box of snacks, and a piece of pork weighing more than three pounds. It's not a small amount, right?" Nora divided everything into three portions and gave them to her three daughters-in-law.
"Mom, it's a lot, enough." Mrs. Hu spoke first. If it weren't for the meat bought by her younger sister for the New Year, there wouldn't be so much this year. In previous years, there was only a little more than one pound, but less than two pounds.
