The car drove slowly through the city center. Ervin's eyes swept across a row of shops on the roadside and suddenly stopped.
A light bulb went off in his head and he had an idea - but the idea was too bold. Ervin cursed himself and stepped on the accelerator.
Ten minutes later, the black and red Plymouth slowly backed up. Ervin stopped the car and stood in front of a glass curtain wall with a red face. On the wall was printed the words "Tiffany" in frosted bold letters.
Ervin paused for a second, pushed the door open, and walked straight to a counter. Unfortunately, the layout of the cabinets in the store had changed several times in the past two years, and Ervin did not find the ring belonging to Adrian in its original location.
