Running upstairs, Ervin saw Adrian sitting in the bedroom with his back to him. Although he heard the voice, he did not turn around - just like in his previous life when he was jealous of Li Meihan coming to see him, he was arrogant and sullen, but looked lonely and particularly pitiful.
Ervin was overwhelmed with emotions. He called out "Evor" softly with self-blame and guilt, then moved forward and put his arms around her from behind.
As if he was afraid that the other person would disappear from his sight, he clasped his hands tightly on Evor's chest. He forgot what he wanted to say and just wanted to hug her at this moment.
But Adrian didn't let this warm moment continue. He noticed the blood on Ervin's hand, grabbed his wrist and held it in front of him, frowned and asked, "What's wrong with your hand?"
"I got hurt accidentally..." Ervin whispered, k!ssing Evor's cheek ingratiatingly, "It's okay, it's just a minor wound. It doesn't hurt now." It made him realize what is most important. What does this little pain matter?
