Ervin admitted that when he was in China, he did love to stick with Lily, and this was known to everyone in his circle of friends.
But after going abroad, or after Lily said those words to him last month, Ervin has restrained himself a lot.
Unfortunately, his image of being a "clingy person" has already left a deep impression on many people, and his anxious behavior of looking for Lily at this moment does not have much persuasiveness of "reform", so when facing Sam's "admonition", Ervin felt powerless.
He hung up the phone without making any excuses, and waited until just before Lily's usual bedtime before calling again - thank God, this time the call finally went through!
"Lily!" Ervin's hands were shaking with excitement, "You finally answered the phone!"
