The fisherman just smiled and said nothing.
Lucas Hua made a gesture and said, "He is just afraid that something bad will happen to us."
He turned to the fisherman and said, "But we have urgent business there, so please forgive me for bothering you."
The fisherman reeled in the rope and put his foot on one end of the boat.
