He checked the email again on his phone, double-checking that every word was real.
His work was indeed selected.
He suddenly remembered that his work was shortlisted for the first time 14 years ago, but he did not make it to the final exhibition at that time. After so many years, there have been two sessions in between, the rules have changed, the time has changed, the art gallery for the exhibition has moved to another country, and he has grown from 19 to 33 years old.
