The sound of water in the bathroom stopped. Jasper wrapped a towel and walked out. He saw that Everly was not asleep, sitting on the bedside and staring at the direction of the bathroom. He was slightly stunned, his brows frowned but not widening. The bed came over, but turned and went to the door.
As soon as the door was closed, Everly knew that he had gone to sleep in the master bedroom.
In other words, there is no late night conversation.
The next day, Everly didn’t see Jasper when he got up. Harper said that he had gone to work early in the morning.
Everly frowned, but said nothing, and sat down for breakfast.
