Jasper stood there swallowing clouds and fog, Everly curled his eyebrows and stared at him, becoming more impatient. When he was about to turn around, Jasper suddenly said, “What are you doing while standing so far?”
The distance between the two people spans a coffee table and a sofa, and the large living room is at one end.
Everly glanced at the coffee table in the middle, and said lightly: “I can hear you clearly.”
Jasper looked at her, and the corner of one lips twitched and let out a sneer. He took a puff of cigarette, slowly spit it out, and walked over unhurriedly, stepping on the carpet silently, but the tall body he approached gave her an inexplicable sense of oppression.
The sun was shining outside the window, and his figure in the room was stretched obliquely by the sun, and part of it had been hidden on her. Everly resisted wanting to retreat, and saw him stopping on the coffee table, bending over and squeezing out the cigarette butts in the ashtray.
