With a loud bang, the ground shook violently. Laura, who was squatting outside the house waiting for news, fell into the snow unexpectedly and looked at the ground in horror.
What happened? Was it an earthquake? No, it wasn't. There was a huge explosion underground!
Even if an explosion of this magnitude occurred in an open-air environment, it would be enough to penetrate the armor of a tank. If it happened indoors... within a radius of more than ten meters, no one would survive the power of the explosion!
Laura's heart sank. She no longer cared about Ryan's warning and stood up to rush into the house!
The sky suddenly brightened, and a light completely different from the sunlight of the polar day pierced the earth, like a slowly blooming flower rising from the abyss, spreading out layer after layer of veil-like silver-white light. This polar ice and snow world seemed to have returned to the warm and comfortable womb of its mother, no longer afraid of any harm.
