"We're here. This is the Fossil Lake." The guide brought the two to a huge underground lake and introduced, "The buildings around here were built during the time of the first dragon ant queen. Now most of them have collapsed and been destroyed. It is said that most of them are in the architectural style of the demon world. Later, with the entry of humans into the underground ant city, and many of the later dragon ant queens were born humans, the style gradually became closer to that of the human world."
Ryan and Mia stood in front of a ruined ancient building, gazing at the vast underground lake in front of them. Thick water vapor formed a large cloud of fog floating on the underground lake. With gusts of wind coming from the underground caves, the water mist was constantly blown away and gathered again.
The amazing thing is that there are a large number of fluorescent plankton floating in the lake, which is a deep fluorescent blue. With the lingering smoke, this huge underground lake is like a night sky with thin clouds, shining stars and vastness.
"The scenery here is nice, but there doesn't seem to be many people?" asked Ryan.
The guide pondered and said, "There were people living here in the early years, but I don't know when it started. There were frequent violent conflicts here, and the level of chaos was even worse than in the downtown area. Coupled with the water monster incident, the residents here moved away."
