Ryan didn't wake up early, but he felt tired all over. He was yawning absentmindedly while eating breakfast, which made Mia ask him with concern if he needed to sleep a little longer.

"No, it's okay. I just felt a little sleepy after getting up." Ryan yawned and took a big sip of strong and bitter black coffee. This was a gift from Celia. Although he didn't like the taste at all, it was indeed very helpful in refreshing himself.

The constantly beating number had dropped from 912 before going to bed to 710. This was a bad hint that a lot of people must have died last night, but they didn't even know where those people were.

After breakfast, the two set out again. Ryan watched Mia remove the barrier silently. He wanted to ask many questions, but in the end he didn't ask anything. He had little experience in love, and on the one hand he thought it was better to talk about it, but on the other hand he was worried that his questioning would make Mia feel painful and embarrassed. This tangled and helpless feeling finally turned into his cautious silence.

When walking out of the barrier, Ryan was surprised to find that the thick fog that filled the air yesterday had dissipated, and the entire underground royal court was clearly displayed before his eyes - neat and uniform streets, the ground that was eerily clean, and the "blue sky" above his head that seemed not to be underground.
