Alex Cong took out bacon, mutton, meatballs, tofu and several kinds of vegetables from the car, and started making hot pot. She also opened a small bottle of orange juice extravagantly.
The sun went down and the weather was getting colder. They gathered around the fire, wishing they could get into it.
As expected, snow began to fall from the sky. Everyone looked up and saw the vast dark blue night sky filled with stars. Silvery white snowflakes were scattered all over the sky, emitting a crystal white glow under the moonlight. The scene was so beautiful that it took one's breath away.
Cold snowflakes fell on Alex Cong's face. He reached out and touched them. They melted. He sighed softly, "It's snowing... What a heavy snow."
Abu looked at the falling snowflakes curiously, stretching out his paws to grab them from time to time, waving his big furry paws in the air, but he caught nothing. The snowflakes fell on his wide-open purple eyes, and the cold touch scared him. He fell to the ground, covered his eyes with his paws, and rolled on the ground.
