Scholar's House. Owen You sat beside the painting table, tossing the lid of a teacup up and down. The housekeeper had just sent the guests away and came in to report. Owen You said: "Lao Cao, you have been in Chang'an for a long time, have you ever thought about going home?" The housekeeper was stunned and said: "No, no, no, I dare not miss home."

Owen You stopped what he was doing, looked at the housekeeper and smiled, "I don't want to chase you away. I just want to ask, is there anyone you miss in your hometown?" The housekeeper breathed a sigh of relief, then said, "I think of my old lady every year." Owen You said, "You and your wife are still on good terms."

The housekeeper said, "I want to stay at home. Our two old bones are still quarreling every day. Once I leave, I will miss you so much." Owen You closed the lid and pointed to the place beside him: "You must have been very happy when you married her." The housekeeper sat down and smiled involuntarily: "At that time, she escaped the marriage arranged by her family and lived with a poor boy like me. Life was not easy, but we were both happy."

Owen You hesitated for a moment and said, "Have you ever regretted it?" The housekeeper laughed and said, "We regret it when we quarrel, and we regret why we regretted it when we make up." Owen You also laughed, "I didn't expect Lao Cao to be so humorous."

The housekeeper laughed for a while, then suddenly stopped: "Master, why do you want to ask this? Do you have a lover?" Owen You's eyebrows tightened slightly, and he smiled and waved his hands: "I won't talk about my business."
