"Excuse me, Commander-in-Chief." Dak thought for a moment and told the truth:
"Those technological artifacts left over from the old empire are ominous, perhaps already tainted with evil and filthy things from the underworld. Picking them up now will not only fail to be put into actual combat immediately, but will instead erode the user, which is not worth the loss."
"Oh? Why?" Yaroslav was curious. He straightened his body and moved closer to Dak. He asked in a patient and gentle tone:
"I know that there is actually two-way information transparency between the Federal Committee and the Lost Organization. What I saw and heard in the 'Ku Shen Ruins', the top leaders of the committee, especially Lord Vasily, will know sooner or later. So, I didn't want to hide it from the beginning." Dak didn't answer directly, but sighed, then brought the topic back on track, saying:
"Looking at your state, I'm sure you must know that the old empire's 'new construction plan' triggered the 'new dollar crisis'. Ivan XXII once ordered a 'deduction team' to scientifically calculate the fate of the empire. After finding that the conclusion was 'definitely destroyed' no matter what, he modified the 'Ivanov virus' at the time...
