I have never seen the pure light in the world, nor have I seen the full picture of this strange world. I was just born in this dark and terrible world called the end of the world. Fortunately, there are mysterious waterways and a safe environment that seems like a place for humans to survive. These can bring me some faint curiosity and encourage me to explore to the bottom.
It is said that every ten years, a reincarnation will occur. At the bottom of the holy city on a full-moon night, forty waterways will appear, leading to mystery and truth. As long as I can enter one of them, I can explore a little secret of this strange world in the mystery.
The holy city I am talking about, which was established at the end of the world, is called Socrates. It seems to be the last refuge for mankind here.
I remember an old man who had long since left this damn world said that the city of Sugra belonged to the Rhine Empire in ancient times. In this bizarre apocalypse where steam and magic fly together, we can imagine what this place originally looked like in ancient times.
But part of the history of this city and part of the existence of this empire seem to be just the broken words recorded in those old and wrinkled black leather books. Fortunately, I have been taught the common language of mankind and can understand the obscure language a little. But this end of the world is separated from this world by the fifty-meter-high wall of the holy city, leaving us who seem to be in paradise inside and the ruins outside that we have never really glimpsed.
