"Is it an earthquake? Or... a monster?" Wright asked. When the shaking stopped, he put Sai down steadily.
But what he himself didn't realize was that a sly smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
That smile, which was mixed with greed, impulse, desire, and a strong sense of "sorrow", made Sai feel uncomfortable for a moment, but then he showed an even more elusive and strange smile, stepped back to the side, away from Wright, and replied:
"It's God... God, God!"
"God?" Wright asked in confusion, looking ahead blankly, and his expression instantly returned to normal.
