Sebastian Zhuo was very punctual and said he would be home at three o'clock at the latest. At two-fifty, the car that was taking him back stopped at the door of his house.
Marcus Tong was waiting for him with his ears perked up. He ran out when he heard the voice. When he opened the door, Sebastian Zhuo just got out of the car. When he saw him rushing out, he stopped and put one hand on the car door, saying, "I was just about to go in and call you. Let's go now."
Marcus Tong nodded and said, "Wait a minute! I'll go get my bag."
Sebastian Zhuo said: "Okay...walk carefully, don't run."
Marcus Tong ran for a few steps happily when he was stopped. He obediently walked to the swing on the terrace, picked up his backpack, held a tablet in his arms, and got on the passenger seat with a cup of mashed potatoes with chicken sauce that Xuangui had just stuffed into his hand.
Sebastian Zhuo drove back by himself. He took off his suit jacket and put it on the passenger seat. Marcus Tong held the jacket in his arms and almost dropped the tablet. Sebastian Zhuo helped him put the pile of things in his arms in order, then leaned over to help him fasten his seat belt.
The action was so close that Marcus Tong was unaware. However, Sebastian Zhuo paused for a moment, and when Marcus Tong looked at him suspiciously, he asked, "Will this not be uncomfortable?"
Marcus Tong sniffed the pheromone scent in his breath. It had a strong presence but was not aggressive. It seemed to really awaken the memory of a snowy morning in the past.
"Not uncomfortable." He leaned back, resting his head against the back of the chair, slightly raised his face, and smiled at Sebastian Zhuo. His face was a little red, but not embarrassed anymore. "Thank you, brother."
Not sure whether Marcus Tong meant pheromone soothing or seat belts, Sebastian Zhuo pulled the latch to check as he stepped back, hummed, and said, "You're welcome."
The back seat was piled with gift boxes. Marcus Tong realized that they must be the gifts bought by Sebastian Zhuo. For a moment, he felt a little ashamed, thinking that he had given too little thought and had basically only known how to eat, drink and have fun.
But he didn't know that when he smiled ingratiatingly at Sebastian Zhuo, he was like a puppy wagging its tail. It was more like being cute than expressing apology.
Sebastian Zhuo couldn't help but look at him twice more, took the bag and wanted to put it in the back seat for him. He originally thought it only carried a mobile phone and wallet, but when he held it in his hand, he felt that it was heavier than he imagined, so he asked casually: "You carry so many things?"
Marcus Tong swallowed the mashed potatoes before speaking: "Not much, just things I need, such as toothbrushes and towels. My dad and brother are not at home recently, so I guess no one wants to replenish the things in my room."
Sebastian Zhuo paused for a long time before he uttered a low "hmm" - the car just started up and the sound of the ignition was drowned out by it. Marcus Tong was not sure if he had really heard it.
The turtle came out to see him off, and Marcus Tong was busy saying goodbye to it. After the two of them had been hanging out together, Sebastian Zhuo backed out of the courtyard.
At the beginning of the journey, Marcus Tong lowered his head to pick at his mashed potatoes. He ate very carefully and cleanly, without making any mess on the cup and spoon. Halfway through the meal, he suddenly froze and asked Sebastian Zhuo: "Brother, can you eat in the car?"
Sebastian Zhuo said: "Yes."
Marcus Tong breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, his eyes curved: "I was so scared, Connor Tong wouldn't let me in the car, I just forgot about it when I was talking to Dudu."
But even though Sebastian Zhuo said it was edible, he still covered the mashed potatoes, holding it in one hand while looking at the shops passing by along the street.
After moving here, apart from frequently visiting the 24-hour convenience store at the entrance of the community, Marcus Tong has never been out for a look, so it’s quite fresh to see.
The weather was very good that day, and Marcus Tong felt that he was in a very good mood. He did not feel awkward being with Sebastian Zhuo. It might be because he was about to go home, or it might be because Sebastian Zhuo smiled at him twice, which made him relax a lot.
The child sat obediently. Sebastian Zhuo paid attention to the road conditions while following Marcus Tong's movements with his peripheral vision. He looked out the window, opened Sudoku and played for a while, then randomly shook the mashed potatoes in his hand upside down.
After a while, Marcus Tong finally calmed down. He continued to watch the cartoon he watched with Xuangui on his tablet. While waiting for the red light, Sebastian Zhuo glanced at his screen, and Marcus Tong immediately introduced it to him: "This is called Sailor Moon."
Sebastian Zhuo followed his words and asked, "What are you talking about?"
Marcus Tong thought for a moment and said, "Dress-up game."
Just then, Usagi Tsukino began to transform on the screen.
"...Oh." Sebastian Zhuo said, "Do you like this?"
Marcus Tong took off his headphones and quickly denied: "No! It was Dudu who asked me to watch it with him."
Sebastian Zhuo said: "It's not here now, so you don't have to look at it anymore."
Marcus Tong secretly looked at him, trying to figure out the expression on Sebastian Zhuo's face. After studying it for a while, he thought Sebastian Zhuo had no hidden meaning, so he said, "It's okay. I'll finish reading it now that it's all opened."
When they waited until the next red light, Sebastian Zhuo said, "You like to watch it, too, right?"
"What?"
"Sailor Moon." Sebastian Zhuo thought for a moment before saying the name. He looked at Marcus Tong with a serious expression, "You were laughing the whole time you were watching."
"Okay." Marcus Tong had to admit, "It's pretty good."
He stared at Sebastian Zhuo warily: "Do you think I'm childish?"
Sebastian Zhuo asked back: "Why do you say that?"
Marcus Tong said: "Originally I wanted to watch The Avengers, which is about many superheroes fighting against evil forces and saving the world... that one is cooler... this one, this one is not that cool."
Sebastian Zhuo smiled, the kind of "you're really a child" smile, but it was the first time that Marcus Tong didn't feel disgusted by such a smile, probably because no matter what Sebastian Zhuo said, it was just the literal meaning.
If another person says "He is just a child after all", what he may mean is "Children are so childish" or "Children are not good in all aspects".
But Sebastian Zhuo just said "Marcus Tong is still a child after all".
Marcus Tong certainly knew that he was still a child, so he didn't hate Sebastian Zhuo's smile.
"You are already very cool." Sebastian Zhuo said.
After receiving the affirmation from Sebastian Zhuo, who was very impressive in every aspect, Marcus Tong suddenly felt shy and blinked before saying, "Really?"
Sebastian Zhuo steered the car into the fast lane, saying, "Really."
Marcus Tong believed every word he said, and then Marcus Tong continued to watch Sailor Moon with peace of mind.
The humans in the past were so interesting, how could they draw such interesting animations? Marcus Tong thought, at least in terms of plot, it was much more interesting than the current fully simulated animations.

The two families did not live close to each other. If Marcus Tong took the subway to go home, it would probably take about 40 minutes. But Sebastian Zhuo drove and went through two urban areas. There were more cars on Friday afternoon, so the road was congested for a while. Marcus Tong also slept for a while, and it was almost five o'clock when he arrived.
As soon as the car stopped, Connor Tong came out and waited at the door to pick him up.
Marcus Tong hadn't thought about anything on the way home, but when he got to the doorstep, he felt a little shy. Whether it was true or not, this was his first time going home after getting married, and he was accompanied by his spouse.
Fortunately, Connor Tong did not tease him in front of Sebastian Zhuo like he did on oukm. He just greeted Sebastian Zhuo, put his hand on his shoulder silently, pulled him to his side, looked at him, and asked him if he had eaten lunch. Marcus Tong said he had, so he nodded, gave Sebastian Zhuo's hand, and went to the back seat to get something.
Marcus Tong tried to help, but was stopped by the two men. However, he didn't want to just stand by and watch, so he simply jumped up the stairs and went in two steps at a time.
Connor Tong studied for his undergraduate degree at the same school where Sebastian Zhuo studied for his doctorate, but he is two grades lower than Sebastian Zhuo. They knew each other before and had more interactions after work, but neither of them had expected that they would have such a relationship one day.
---
"Of course, you used to worship him as an unattainable idol, but you never expected that one day he would call you brother-in-law. Of course you were very proud."
Marcus Tong was lying on the bed, crossing his legs, still watching Sailor Moon. He had already watched eleven episodes today, and he decided to watch one more episode before going to bed.
Connor Tong originally came over to say good night, but the two brothers started battling with each other. Marcus Tong was also a foul-mouthed person and knew exactly how to poke Connor Tong's anger points.
But seeing Connor Tong approaching with a bad face, it was obvious that nothing good would happen. Marcus Tong was about to ask for mercy, but Connor Tong stopped him and asked, "What's the smell on you?"
Marcus Tong wrinkled his nose and smelled: "What smell?"
Connor Tong had a strange expression: "... the smell of an alpha." He reached out and grabbed a strand of hair on Marcus Tong's forehead that hadn't been blown dry. "Didn't you take a shower? Why are you so irritated?"
Marcus Tong said: "How should I know..."
His face slowly turned red, and Connor Tong immediately leaned closer in a sly way: "Hmm?"
"Get lost!" Marcus Tong pushed Connor Tong's face away with one hand and stretched out his foot to kick him, but was easily restrained by Connor Tong. Seeing that he was about to be tickled in the armpit again, he had to show weakness, "I have to go to school on Monday. He gave me a temporary mark."
Connor Tong: "K!ssing?"
Marcus Tong: "???"
Marcus Tong's face turned red and he struggled hard. Connor Tong had no intention of holding him down, so he just let him run away.
---
Connor Tong left, the cartoons could no longer be watched, and Marcus Tong could no longer sleep.
Sebastian Zhuo didn't K!ss him, but the level of shame still easily broke Marcus Tong's limit--- After dinner, he sent Sebastian Zhuo out. He thought he could go back after standing and waiting for the car to leave, but he didn't expect Sebastian Zhuo to mention today's desensitization.
They didn't see each other for the next two days, so he needed to be hugged for a longer time. The space in the car was limited, so he sat on Sebastian Zhuo's legs. Through the thin short-sleeved shirt and shirt, he was hugged tightly for the first time.
In the narrow carriage, the alpha's pheromones, body temperature, heartbeat and pulse were all abnormally clear. When Sebastian Zhuo let go of him and asked him to get off the car, Marcus Tong's legs felt a little weak.
Fortunately, Sebastian Zhuo did not laugh at him.
Marcus Tong thought, although they were both brothers, Sebastian Zhuo was a hundred times better than Connor Tong, and he would never laugh at him.
