Eva Thompson talked to Meng Xi for a long time. Meng Xi's eyes fell on her belly from time to time, and sometimes she stared at it in a daze.
When Eva Thompson found out, she felt heartbroken. She knew what Meng Xi was thinking, so that was why she hadn't come here for a long time.
After sitting for a few more minutes, she stood up, said goodbye and left.
She felt as if she was suffering just by sitting there. Meng Xi walked out of the store, saw her off to the car, and watched her car disappear.
Eva Thompson watched the figure in the rearview mirror getting smaller and smaller until it could no longer be seen. She sighed and felt a little distressed. She just hoped that she would get better and better.
