Gabriel slept particularly soundly at night and felt particularly peaceful, probably because he slept with Aiden in his arms all night. He woke up the next day when the doctor came for rounds, quietly got out of bed and put on his coat. Aiden was still sleeping, but his brows were slightly wrinkled, obviously he had been disturbed.
Gabriel couldn't bear to disturb his sleep, but he had no choice. The doctor came to check on the patient's recovery. After standing next to Aiden for a while, the doctor had already examined the two patients, and then he reached out and gently touched Aiden's shoulder to wake him up, "Aiden, wake up, the doctor is coming to check."
Aiden's slightly delicate eyebrows were still raised, and he slowly opened his eyes. Seeing this, Gabriel couldn't help but smile. He leaned forward, gently helped him up, and helped him put on his coat. The distance between the two was so close that they could feel each other's breathing. At that moment, their heartbeats accelerated inexplicably.
The doctor quickly checked on Aiden, looked at his physical indicators, listened to his heart and lungs, asked some very basic physical questions, and concluded that there was nothing wrong with him, and led a group of people to inspect him. Went to a ward.
"How are you feeling today? Are you better than yesterday?" Gabriel asked in a low voice as soon as the others left, with a hint of worry and concern in his voice.
