After going to the hospital for a check-up for the last time and receiving the notice of terminal illness, Emma Bai hid the notice in the bedside table in front of the hospital bed.

If Caleb Bai hadn't cleaned the ward on a whim while she was undergoing treatment, he wouldn't have known about it until Emma Bai died.

After that, I secretly asked the doctor whether it was true or false, and learned that with the efficiency of the current treatment, my sister could only live for another year at most. As for better medical resources, they are simply out of reach given their authority.

The only thing Caleb Bai could do was to buy the best medicine within his ability, in order to delay as much time as possible and find the next turning point for the treatment of his condition.
