Eli is dead.
He died on his birthday, his wedding anniversary, and the day he decided to divorce. It was as if all his buffs were maxed out, so his death was quite spectacular.
The raging fire at Jingxing Technology devoured him mercilessly. He was confined to a wheelchair and didn't even have the ability to escape.
Before he lost consciousness, Eli was thinking: Where does the soul go after death? Will it reunite with its deceased relatives?
He didn't know the answer, but what he did know was that the feeling of being burned by fire really hurt, more painful than any pain he had ever experienced in his life.
