Wyatt Wan said: "That's so embarrassing. I'll come over right away and deliver the lunch. Can Teacher Lu please come out and collect it?"

Of course Landon Lu agreed and asked him to contact him again when he was about to arrive at school.

Wyatt Wan went out with his lunch bag and felt better. He thought that meeting Teacher Lu would be a blessing in disguise.

He also bought two cups of coffee and a large American cookie at the gate of the community, put them in the car and took them to school.

Wyatt Wan arrived at school and called Landon Lu, but no one answered. Five minutes later, the end of get out of class bell came from the school opposite. Wyatt Wan guessed that he was in class just now. Sure enough, after another three minutes, a tall figure appeared in the school. Behind the iron gate, he greeted the guard and walked out of the side door.

Landon Lu already recognized Wyatt Wan's car and walked straight towards him.

Wyatt Wan handed him the lunch bag, coffee and cookies, fearing that he would refuse, so he quickly said: "Trouble, Teacher Lu."

Landon Lu did not refuse, and recognized it as a cafe near the community, and said, "It's okay. Mr. Wan, don't be so polite. Treat me like a child every time and bring snacks."

Wyatt Wan smiled at him, waved and said, "Goodbye."

Landon Lu was already in class when he returned to school, and it happened to be the last class in the morning. He simply helped Quinn Wan heat up lunch and took it to the classroom after class and handed it over to her.

Children sometimes share lunch, but when they open the lunch box and see that it is fried wontons, the children around them are not greedy.

Landon Lu noticed that the wontons didn't look very good. The heated water vapor made the crispy bottom lose its texture, and the skin was uneven. It didn't look like it was made by Wyatt Wan's aunt who was good at cooking.

After eating four of them, Qieshu put away his lunch box and went to play with his friends outside the classroom.

In the afternoon, Wyatt Wan picked up the kids, went home and simply fried shrimps and asparagus, fried a piece of steak, and mixed with vegetable salad.

Quinn Wan took two bites, put down his spoon and said coquettishly: "Xiaoyu, I want to drink soup."

Wyatt Wan said: "Okay, do you want tomato and egg soup? Or... I saw miso in the cabinet, how about miso soup?"

Quinn Wan pursed his lips, obviously not satisfied, and said: "I want to drink fish soup, or short rib soup."

The aunt at home is really good at making soup. There used to be a soup on the dining table every day. Wyatt Wan didn't take this into consideration and apologized: "I'm sorry. I'm not very good at making this kind of soup."

Quinn Wan picked up the spoon and said, "It doesn't matter, the rice cooked by the little fish is also delicious."

Wyatt Wan lowered his eyes and watched Quinn Wan cook the rice obediently. He had to admit that the food on the table was too bland, probably not to his sister's taste.

After the meal, Wyatt Wan put the tableware into the dishwasher, and his sister watched English cartoons in the living room. After eight o'clock, Wyatt Wan turned off her TV and asked, "How about we go out to buy groceries now?"

He found out that the nearby community supermarket was open until nine o'clock in the evening, which was just enough time for them to go shopping.

Wyatt Wan said, "You go pick out some dishes you like, and I'll cook them for you."

Quinn Wan's eyes lit up and he said, "Really?"

And worried: "Then will you be secretly photographed by the paparazzi?"

Wyatt Wan has been keeping a low profile recently. The popularity of his last movie has slowly declined. He has not seen any suspicious people nearby. He lowered his guard a little and said, "It doesn't matter."

He joked: "If I act ugly, they won't recognize me."

All children like to go to the supermarket. After entering the supermarket, Quinn Wan couldn't help but walk to the snack area. Wyatt Wan was behind her and called her in a low voice: "Sister, come back, let's go check out the food first."

The supermarket in this community is naturally a boutique supermarket. There are lobsters and king crabs in the water tanks. The mushrooms sold on the shelves are still growing on wooden stakes. The lettuce is a whole ball with soil on the bottom, which looks very organic.

He remembered that Quinn Wan wanted to eat fish, so he bought a fresh hairtail and a fish head, along with mushrooms and tofu. While Quinn Wan was weighing himself in the fresh food area, he ran to the freezer to get milk. Yellow bag and ice cream looked at him eagerly.

Wyatt Wan thought for a while and said, "Eat well every day so you can have ice cream."

Take a breath of comfort in the evening.

The supermarket also has a delicatessen section that sells some sushi, bento boxes, etc., and there are discounts in the evening. The quality seems to be very good. Wyatt Wan asked his sister to pick a box and take it to school to make lunch for tomorrow.

Although Wyatt Wan wants to "act ugly", wearing a black peaked cap, black-rimmed glasses, an oversized gray jacket, loose washed jeans and half-worn sneakers, he is still a handsome guy who is very eye-catching. When Landon Lu walked into the supermarket, he immediately caught his eye. Recognize him.

He pushed the shopping cart and talked patiently to Quinn Wan, seeming to be more and more accustomed to the role of a young father.

Quinn Wan hugged a bag of sharing potato chips that was half the size of her body. She looked up and saw Landon Lu. She obviously recognized him and waved to him excitedly.

Wyatt Wan stopped with a smile and waited for Landon Lu to come over, thinking that he was really lucky today.

Wyatt Wan took the initiative to explain and said, "Our aunt has gone back to her hometown for a while, so I brought classmate Xiao Wan here to buy some food."

Landon Lu saw that none of the ingredients in the shopping cart were easy to cook. He also remembered the poor-looking fried wontons that Wyatt Wan specially sent to school at noon. He asked knowingly, "Oh? Mr. Wan can also cook?"

Wyatt Wan said honestly: "I know how to do it simply."

They had already selected the products and were about to check out, but when they met Landon Lu, Wyatt Wan was not in a hurry to go back, followed him with the cart, and walked around the fresh food area again.

Quinn Wan was attracted by the aquatic area and ran to see the fish. Of course, he was not in a hurry to go back.

Landon Lu picked up the discounted chicken drumsticks and beef backbones with clear goals, and then went for onions and green peppers.

Wyatt Wan asked: "How to cook beef spine?"

Landon Lu picked out a tender white radish and said, "Stew soup."

Wyatt Wan asked again: "Where's the chicken? Stir-fried green peppers?"

Landon Lu hummed and said, "Make a big plate of chicken."

Wyatt Wan couldn't help but be aroused, and added: "It's best to prepare some wide noodles."

They passed by the beverage area. Landon Lu got two cans of craft beer, and Wyatt Wan got a row of additive-free soy milk for Wan Qieshu.

Landon Lu replied: "There are noodles at home."

A few years ago, Wyatt Wan was not so popular. When I was in love, I often went to the supermarket with my boyfriend, bought ingredients and cooked my own meals. It was like playing house, which was more interesting than dating in a high-end restaurant.

He and Landon Lu lined up in front of the checkout counter one behind the other. They felt as if they were on a date, and their heartbeats inevitably skipped two beats.

Wyatt Wan bought two big bags of groceries and when he reached the supermarket entrance, he regretted not driving out.

Landon Lu naturally helped him carry away a bag of goods and said, "Let's go."

After entering the community, the road underfoot became dark, and there was no need to be wary of the paparazzi. Wyatt Wan relaxed and said in a casual tone: "Mr. Lu's cooking skills are very good."

Landon Lu said: "Keep doing it and you will naturally get better and better."

Wyatt Wan said enviously: "It still depends on talent. I can't do better."

Landon Lu said: "Mr. Wan's talent lies elsewhere."

Wyatt Wan lowered his head. The hat and glasses covered most of his face, and Landon Lu could only see his shallow lips and pointed chin.

Landon Lu said casually, "If you don't have a place to eat, you can come to my house. Anyway, I have to cook every day."

Quinn Wan said in surprise: "Really?"

Wyatt Wan grabbed her, subconsciously being polite, and said, "How can this be so embarrassing?"

Landon Lu said boredly: "Forget it then."

Wyatt Wan immediately regretted it, and Wan Qieshu also looked disappointed, looking at Wyatt Wan with reproachful eyes.

Wyatt Wan gritted his teeth and said, "Actually... I'm really not very good at cooking. When Mr. Lu is free, let me come and observe and learn, or come to my house to give guidance..."

Landon Lu laughed softly. Wyatt Wan suspected that he was teasing him, but he did not embarrass him. He agreed quickly and said in a very talkative manner, "It's OK tomorrow."

Landon Lu said: "Come to my house for dinner tomorrow."

Landon Lu helped them carry their things to the door of their house. Wyatt Wan asked him to go in and sit down. Landon Lu said it was too late and he would come to visit another day.

After a trip out, Wyatt Wan's heartbeat was still beating heavily and his cheeks were slightly hot.

Teacher Lu was deliberately indifferent before, perhaps out of prejudice against him, mistaking him for being a celebrity and irresponsible.

Now that the attitude has become gentler, is it because the prejudice has been eliminated through getting along?

There should be boundaries between parents and teachers. For example, if they meet by chance in the supermarket, they may say hello, but they will not shop together, check out, go home, or even invite each other to their homes.

If Wyatt Wan felt that their boundaries were not so clear, Landon Lu even tacitly allowed him to blur the boundaries and have personal interactions outside the campus.

So, can he be more proactive and bold?

Wyatt Wan, who was chasing someone for the first time, was crossing the river by feeling the stones, but he still didn't know how long the river would flow, whether there were undercurrents, and whether the scenery on the other side of the river met his expectations.
