Samson knew that this was quite cowardly, but he really couldn't stay in this environment. People probably tend to think less when survival becomes difficult. He just had a bunch of excuses, but now he ran faster than anyone else.
On the way, Samson said thank you very solemnly. Caleb's expression was still the same. It was hard to tell whether he was happy or not on that handsome face. He just hummed. Samson thought that since he had waited for him, this must be a sincere gesture.
His mood fluctuated throughout the day and he was exhausted both physically and mentally. Thanking him was the only thing he could think of at the moment. For the rest of the time, his back was limp and he slumped in the passenger seat looking at the scenery outside.
It's not tiredness, it's exhaustion.
I didn’t have time to think just now, but now that I have a comfortable place to go, a lot of ideas popped into my mind.
