A hand stretched out from under the bulge in the quilt, and was quickly covered by another hand. The hands were clasped together, and the same rings touched each other.
The simple action of interlocking fingers slowly turned into an intense entanglement. Ambiguous sounds came intermittently from under the quilt, gradually getting louder and soon filling the entire room.
After a long time, Nathan Lu laughed and lifted the quilt. Edward Yao put one arm across her eyes and said helplessly, "Get up, stop lingering on the bed."
Nathan Lu didn't want to do what he wanted, so he leaned over and pressed against him again, biting his earlobe and whispering, "Why are you in such a hurry? You don't have to go to work today anyway."
After another hour of tossing and turning, Edward Yao kicked away the man who was still not satisfied, dragged her aching waist out of bed and went into the bathroom.
