A month after traveling through time, Samuel hadn't heard Victor laugh seriously. He was dizzy from that joyful low laugh. He rubbed his face and knocked on the door of the next room, but as expected, he got no response.
After not coming home all night, it was easy to guess what Lucas had done. Those who came without a partner lived on the seventh floor. Samuel didn't have the leisure to risk catching someone cheating, so he just took the elevator to the first floor and ordered a cup of coffee.
The weather today was excellent, with a sunny day, clear wind and blue sky. Samuel chose a seat near the window and sat down, burying himself in the soft sofa and pillows.
The redness and swelling around his eyes had not yet completely disappeared, and he looked very sad.
Stirring his coffee absentmindedly, Samuel felt that all he needed to be a part of a melodramatic idol drama was a tear-jerking background music.
