Ever since Lucas moved out of the old house, Samuel rarely locked the door, so Victor just pressed down the door handle and successfully entered the young man's bedroom.
As the sun sets, a human-shaped ball rises slightly in the center of the warm-toned bed. Victor looks at the few strands of black hair that sneak out from the edge of the quilt, and his tense heartstrings suddenly relax.
I was really too nervous. With Uncle Zheng at home, there was no way the other party could escape without making a sound.
Although he knew that the man was still there, Victor just wanted to see him in person for no reason. He closed the door silently, and then sat down quietly beside the young man's bed.
Perhaps because he lacked a sense of security and belonging since childhood, Samuel always had the habit of curling up into a ball when he slept. Feeling his slightly rising and falling breathing, Victor reached out and lifted a corner of the quilt that was wrapped around the young man.
