“Well, I don’t want to go.” Cody looked at the plain white hand that was holding his sleeves tightly, his lips curled up, and he smiled very cheerfully.
Evelyn was a little embarrassed by his smile, as if she couldn’t leave him like, and let go of her hand, she whispered, “The rain is so big outside, you will pour it down and you will catch a cold.”
“Do you feel bad?” Cody’s eyes were deeper and deeper, and naturally she took the small hand she had removed into the palm of her hand.
Evelyn wanted to take it away, but he didn’t do it.
