Ethan Xiao's mind was full of random thoughts until he felt a slight tremor on his arm. Then he realized that Hai Yin was using a syringe gun.
Maybe it was some kind of electrolyte, or maybe it was some kind of peptide that enhanced immunity. Ethan Xiao didn't care. He fell into a deep sleep.
In the second half of the night, Ethan Xiao slowly woke up. He turned sideways and vaguely felt someone sitting next to him with his arms folded against the headboard. Ethan Xiao then realized that the fresh smell on the bed sheets blended with the person next to him. Even though he couldn't see the facial features clearly, he knew that the other person was Lucas Hein.
This person has actually been taking care of him. He didn't abandon him and didn't show any impatience.
He was not as scary as he thought.
