"Maybe I slept too much."
Ethan Xiao leaned against the pillow, feeling that the other person's presence was much better than the nightmare.
"Fear is mostly caused by the unknown."
The man on the sofa finally stood up. Ethan Xiao could hear his footsteps gradually approaching him, each step stepping on his heartbeat.
"You think too much about things that may not happen yet, which only shakes you up and makes you more panicky."
