It was more than an hour later when Asher and his companions returned to the White Wolf.
As for where exactly this hour or so was spent, that’s a long story.
First, Captain Shao Heng said that he needed to be alone. Asher grabbed him and brainwashed him, which reminded him of the fear of being dragged to the office by the general and dean in charge of the entire operations department when he was studying at the military academy. In addition, he needed to spend a few minutes to recall why he was inexplicably turned into an accomplice of Miles in just a matter of entering and leaving the door. He felt that it made sense and could not be refuted. It was unjustifiable not to be an accomplice.
This development was so shocking that he needed to digest it.
More importantly, he had been hung with his hands and feet tied for a long time and his muscles were sprained, so he needed to rest for a while.
