Occasional darkness can make people calm down involuntarily, but long-term endless darkness will only make people anxious, irritable, angry, and crazy. All negative things will come from all directions like a tide, entwining along the head, feet, and fingers like an endless vine, until the whole person is bound, enveloped, and pulled into a deeper darkness.
He could hear the dripping sound of indicators outside the instrument, which seemed a little far away through some kind of cover, like some kind of timing signal transmitted from another world, mixed with some experimental data reminders that he did not understand at all at that time, and it was dull and tedious.
Every once in a while, he would be teleported into another experimental chamber. Every time the cold mechanical sound of the experiment starting rang out, two forces would be loaded around him. Maybe it was an energy field or something else. He didn't quite understand at that time.
He could only feel a suction force dragging him towards one place, like a pool with the rubber stopper suddenly pulled out. The huge whirlpool bound him with an unbreakable force, so strong that his body was almost squeezed and deformed. It seemed that it was not dragging him towards a certain point in space, but directly to another world.
But another force tried to keep him in place.
