A feeling of uneasiness lingered in the carriage, but was blown away by Nathan Wei's calm voice. He glanced at the few people who were standing there like dumbfounded chickens, and spoke in a gentle voice.
"I thought there must be a wild animal blocking the road. It's normal for the driver to be frightened by a wild animal since he's from the city. So I'll go down and take a look."
"Zhengzi, I, I'll tell you..." Uncle Biao hesitated and rummaged through his bag to find a small knife for self-defense.
"No need, Uncle Biao, please don't cause me any more trouble, okay?" Nathan Wei smiled and scolded the driver, who had already turned pale with fright.
