At that time, Nathan was lying on the sofa, half asleep and half awake. Suddenly, a group of medical staff rushed in, and his ears were filled with the sounds of various instruments. Austin stood at the outermost edge, at a loss as to what to do. Nathan went in and led him out, and asked him to sit on the sofa with him.
There was nothing much for either of them to do.
His mother had made all the arrangements for her affairs after her death. After supporting his recovery for so many years, the huge trust fund still had a lot of money left. She did not leave a penny for Austin, but donated it all to help mothers who were suffering from postpartum depression.
After hearing the news, Austin heaved a sigh of relief and said to Nathan: "That's great. If it were given to me, I wouldn't know what to do."
Nathan had mixed feelings. It was difficult for him to judge whether this mother was kind or not, and it was not his turn to judge.
