Max came to the Blood River again.

This originally clear river was now filled with floating corpses and the flowing blood seemed as if it would never be purified, which was shocking.

But this kind of situation is just a common occurrence for Max. He can save anyone on a whim, but he will never show sympathy or mercy.

He is a traveler who travels between different worlds. He is willing to seek excitement of breaking through the rules of each world, but is unwilling to be bound by the emotions of any world.

Compassion, sympathy, any emotion that softens a person's heart will cause him to fall into a cowardly dilemma. Max discards anything that makes a person weak.
