Blaine Xia agreed very much: "Well, she and my mother are both the type who get panicked when they stop doing things - hey, you haven't told me where the hospital is?"
"You want to come over? No need, she hasn't woken up yet."
Blaine Xia clicked his tongue: "Stupid, I just want to see you."
Everett Cao's heart softened, and he gave the address of the hospital with a smile. Blaine Xia said he would be here soon, and then asked Everett Cao, seemingly unintentionally, if he had seen his latest updates. The phone hung up before Everett Cao could answer.
No matter how slow he was, Everett Cao still heard the hint in Blaine Xia's words. There might be something to this dynamic.
