The Hong Kong Film Workers Association was established last year.
The General Association, as the name suggests, is an association that brings together all film workers in Hong Kong.
The presidents of Hong Kong's other nine associations, including directors', photographers', screenwriters' and other associations, are all members of the general association.
Although it has only been established for a year, it is very united.
In particular, Wu Siyuan, the president, and Cheng Long have traveled north many times in the past two years to meet with the leaders of the Film Bureau, hoping that the mainland Mark Liet would open up to Hong Kong films.
