There is a Huifengtang restaurant behind Cuiwei Building. It is quite famous in Beijing and is one of the eight major restaurants. It is said that old lady Cixi used to like the dishes of this restaurant.
The main dish served here is Shandong cuisine, which is what Chu Yunfei said, "Shanxi cuisine is not up to standard and cannot be served on the table. Among the northern cuisines, Shandong cuisine is the only one that counts."
It serves Shandong cuisine, but there are two rows of waitresses wearing Manchu costumes standing at the door to welcome guests, which is a bit out of place.
However, Ethan Tang and Daniel Ning did not come here to eat. They asked for a private room and ordered a few dishes. Daniel Ning and his girlfriend Xing Aina started reading the script.
Xing Aina is no layman either. The graduation work that Daniel Ning is about to shoot, as well as several of his subsequent films, all had scripts planned by his girlfriend.
