My dad is, in today's terms, an open-minded literary person. He is kind and interesting, gets along well with friends and family, and in his spare time, he will make a pot of tea at home and read books by his favorite authors.

He always told us that reading can broaden our horizons and gain knowledge, and there is no investment that can give us less and more.

When Brandon Sheng'ou and I were young, he always liked to read us one or two of his favorite articles before bed to express his desire to recite that he had nowhere to vent.

He liked Borges's collection very much, especially "The Matter Is Not Over", and often repeated the passages he thought were exquisite.

"Since the day I had cognition and knowledge, I have accepted those so-called ugly things since I was a child. In fact, there are many incompatible things in the world, and we have to accept each other in order to coexist."
