After my dad passed away, the family lost a source of income, and my mom was always busy supporting the family. In the morning, she would pre-cook two dishes, one meat and one vegetable, put them in the refrigerator, and set the timer on the rice cooker. This way, when we got home from school, we only had to heat up the dishes in the microwave.

During the winter vacation when I was eleven, the weather was extremely cold and heavy snow fell in the south. It was the first time in my life that I saw real snow, soft and cold, covering the sky and dyeing the whole world white.

When the snow was heaviest, I held onto the toilet and vomited so hard that I almost vomited bile.

After vomiting, there will be a short period of comfort, about five or six minutes, and then the stomach pain will continue and there will be a strong urge to vomit.

Brandon Sheng'ou heard the noise and came to the bathroom door. He looked at me from a distance and asked in a tone that didn't seem to care: "How are you? Do you want to go to the hospital?"
