Leaving the tunnel is not that easy.

The rain was getting heavier and heavier, and all the vents were smashed, forming small "waterfalls" one after another.

The water fell so fast that both the squirrel and Jake Qi tried to climb up, but they were washed back before they could reach halfway, let alone bring their cubs up.

Mud surged in the tunnel, like an earth-yellow evil dragon, pulling in more sand and gravel. Without the support of the roots of the mutated plants, the entire tunnel would collapse, trapping Jake Qi, his son and the squirrel underground.
