In the desert during the dry season, the temperature difference between day and night is huge. During the hottest time of the day, the temperature is astonishingly high. The hot sunlight can even bake the sand and gravel.

The sandy wind blew against my face, like fire flowing into my throat, and the heat was suffocating.

The sea of   sand rolls, bringing up large sand waves. Regardless of whether they are native species or exotic animals, if they stay on the ground for more than five minutes, they may be scorched.

The spider wasp's territory is in the center of the desert.

The clear underground river meanders through a ruined city, nourishing a vibrant oasis in the sea of   sand.
