The Lake of Death was so close that the medical officer was blocked by the fog and unable to move forward.
A low roar came from the mist, like a muffled roar of thunder.
The water in the center of the lake surged like boiling water. Then, a column of water rose into the air, and a black shadow jumped out of the water, with bat-like bony wings spread out behind its shoulders, and a sharp roar came out of its mouth, flying towards the medical officer who appeared on the shore.
When the black shadow came closer, all the bone wings were opened, the wing membrane was stretched to the limit, and there were sharp bone spurs on the joints.
In the roar, a long needle-like tongue protruded from the black shadow's mouth, and its hands turned into claws, carrying a terrifying fishy wind to grab the targeted prey.
